Portable Blender Company is a new UK e-commerce site focused on portable blenders and on-the-go hydration.
When I started, they had done very little optimisation, so organic visibility was limited, and the site was not appearing consistently for the searches that drive sales, such as portable blending, smoothies on the go, and hydration routines.
The goal was to build non-brand visibility, improve the quality of traffic landing on product pages, and increase online sales.
I focused on getting the foundations right first, then building supporting content that matched how people search in this niche. I optimised page titles and meta descriptions so Portable Blender Company’s product and collection pages aligned with real queries around travel use, gym bags, commuting, and quick smoothie prep. I then improved internal linking so priority pages had clearer support and shoppers could move through the site naturally, from use case to product to purchase.
To create more entry points from search, I also produced supporting blog content designed to bring in earlier-stage traffic and guide it towards commercial pages. That included portable blender recipes, simple health-led articles linked to hydration and routines, and practical guides on cleaning and looking after the blender.
Alongside the SEO work, I ran an email campaign to bring visitors back and support conversions from people comparing options. Finally, I built relevant backlinks and secured third-party coverage to strengthen authority, which is especially important for newer sites in a product-led market.
Because the site started from a low base, the percentage gains are naturally high. The important part is that visibility improved across key terms, and sales increased alongside it.
